Job Title: All Access Arts Coordinator

  • Full-time non-exempt
  • 35 hours per week
  • 2 days per week work from home (as approved and with event weeks excluded)
  • Reports to All Access Arts Director

Position Overview:
The All Access Arts Coordinator supports the growth and impact of Arts Council OKC’s All Access Arts programs through hands-on program management and volunteer coordination. This position assists with communication between teaching artists and partner sites, manages supplies and data systems, and facilitates the Teen Arts Council initiative. This position plays a key role in ensuring smooth logistics, maintaining community relationships, and strengthening program capacity through effective organization and collaboration. The All Access Arts Coordinator assists the All Access Arts Director with general program management. This includes, but is not limited to, communication with teaching artists, site visits, and data management.

Qualifications / Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Preferred 1 – 2 years’ experience in education, social services, events, project management, nonprofit administration, or related.

Program Planning & Execution:

  • Proven skills in scheduling, budgeting, logistics, organization, and multi-stakeholder coordination.
  • Develop, schedule, and oversee a portfolio of arts programming under the All Access Arts umbrella (e.g. Neighborhood Arts, Arts in the Park, Arts in Schools, Creative Aging, Teen Arts Council).
  • Coordinate with teaching artists and instructors to design workshops, performances, residences, and outreach events in alignment with community needs and budgets.
  • Ensure logistics (venue scheduling, materials, transportation, setup/cleanup, staffing) are handled for each event or residency.
  • Monitor program delivery quality, safety, inclusivity, and accessibility (physical, economic, cultural).
  • Collect and analyze data on participation, demographics, feedback, and outcomes; produce reports and use data to refine programming.

Community & Partnership Engagement

  • Build and maintain partnerships with schools, libraries, parks, community centers, nonprofits, and local government agencies to host and support programs.
  • Serve as a community liaison, assessing local art’s needs, soliciting input, and identifyingunderserved areas and populations.
  • Promote programs and opportunities to communities, stakeholders, and participants (through outreach, presentations, marketing support, etc.).
  • Work cross-departmentally (marketing, development, Festival of the Arts) to align All Access Arts with broader Arts Council OKC initiatives.
  • Schedule and oversee volunteer meetings for multiple Festival of the Arts volunteer areas.
  • Easily builds strong working relationships, ability to successfully recruit and manage volunteers.

Communication Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Knowledge of Excel, Google Suite, Adobe, Canva, and Microsoft Office.

Working Conditions

  • Flexible availability, including readiness to work during events, lunches, evenings, and weekends.
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to be flexible and respond quickly to change.
  • Mostly office-based but with significant time in the field (schools, libraries, senior centers, etc.)

Other Requirements

  • Events require the ability to spend an extended duration standing and the ability to lift 40 pounds.
  • Willingness to work outdoors and in various weather conditions during events.
  • Ability to operate a personal vehicle.
  • Must be able to pass a rigorous background check.

  • Salary commensurate with experience.
