DLP MEDIA GROUP
The Role:
We’re looking for a forward-thinking AI Film Director who’s fluent in the world of generative content — someone who knows the tools, sees the possibilities, and can actually bring them to life inside a real, fast-moving sports media environment. You’ll be the person who helps us push the boundaries of how we make content, using AI to unlock smarter, faster, and more creative ways to tell stories.
This isn’t a lab experiment — it’s about integrating AI across real-world production and post workflows: video, audio, animation, graphics, and more. You’ll work side-by-side with producers, editors, and designers to create standout content for everything from highlight reels to hype spots to original series. And because we live in the world of sports, you’ll need to understand the pace, the culture, and the stakes of getting things right — and getting them out fast.
What You’ll Do:
- Build and lead AI workflows across our content pipeline — from prompt-based video generation to synthetic voiceovers, smart editing tools, and real-time graphics.
- Act as the in-house expert on the latest tools.
- Partner with producers, editors, and post teams to create content that blends AI with editorial craft — social clips, animated explainers, promos, feature segments, and more.
- Help us move faster without sacrificing quality — with AI tools that assist in cutting, cleaning, designing, and even brainstorming.
- Test, experiment, and share — constantly scouting new tools, testing them hands-on, and helping the team learn what’s possible (and what’s not).
- Help vet external partners and freelancers doing AI-powered work.
- Keep us sharp on best practices around rights, ethics, and smart usage.
What You Bring:
- 5+ years working in sports media or content production, with a strong understanding of broadcast, studio, digital, and social formats.
- 2+ years working hands-on with AI tools in creative workflows — video, audio, design, animation, or all of the above.
- A killer portfolio or reel that shows off how you’ve used AI to tell stories, speed up workflows, or make something jaw-dropping.
- Solid knowledge of creative software (Adobe Creative Cloud, DaVinci Resolve, etc.) and how it integrates with AI tools.
- A deep interest in sports — you understand the culture, the timelines, and the tone.
- A proactive, curious mindset — someone who’s not just waiting for what’s next, but already trying it.
SUMMARY
- You’ll be on the front lines of how AI is reshaping content creation — not just observing, but leading.
- You’ll work on high-visibility content seen by millions of sports fans.
- You’ll help us shape the future of our production process — with the support to try new things and make big creative swings.
To Apply:
Send us your resume, a portfolio or reel of AI-powered work, and a quick note on how you think AI can supercharge sports storytelling.
