Trapped in a luxurious mansion with no memory of who he is or why he is there Rory must uncover the mysteries from his past if he wants to survive the night.

Rory wakes to find he has no memory of who he is or why he is locked in this palatial house.  Any attempt to leave the premises is met with searing pain from the implant in his head. As he explores the house memories start to surface, a loving family, a loving wife, gorgeous children.

But something bad happened here, something real bad, someone killed his entire family.

Was it him, did he kill his family? He can’t remember!

He continues to search the house and finds another man tied to a bed in an upstairs room. They work together to hatch an escape plan only to discover evidence that points to both of them as the killer. They are forced to put their conflict aside and work together to unravel the mystery of their prison.  They ultimately find a way out but it comes with a heavy price. It will cost a life to save a life.

FADE IN:
DARKNESS.SILENCE.

P.O.V. OF SOMEONE WAKING UP
Eyelids flicker open revealing a large spacious bedroom,
light seeps in from behind thick, dark drapes.
Writing on the wall, out of focus, HUGE black words on
the white wall.
The writing swims into focus.

‘GO BACK TO SLEEP!’
The Man sits up, confused.

He reads the words again.
‘GO BACK TO SLEEP’
He looks at the digital clock on the bedside table.
8:08 AM.

He looks around.
On the opposite wall are more words.
‘DO NOT ANSWER THE PHONE!’

The digital clock ticks over to 8:09 AM.
He reads the words again.
‘DO NOT ANSWER THE PHONE!’
RING! RING!
He’s startled.

His eyes dart to the phone beside the digital clock.
He reaches for it then stops.
His eyes dart to the words again.
‘DO NOT ANSWER THE PHONE!’
RING! RING!

He swings his legs off the bed and sits looking at the
phone.
RING! RING!
RING! RING!

He reaches for the phone…
CLICK!

The answering machine picks up the call.
He heaves a sigh of relief.

ANSWERING MACHINE
(a MAN’s voice)
Wait for the beep.
(A second of silence.)
Then the BEEEP! of the answering machine.

MAN’S VOICE
Fantastic! You didn’t answer the
phone today. That’s progress,
that’s good.
