About: Crew Call: Sound Designer / Re-Recording Mixer
We are seeking an experienced Sound Designer for a Vietnam War short film (runtime under 10 minutes).
This project relies heavily on immersive sound to place the audience inside the jungle and the chaos of war.
Includes:
* Complete sound design for the film
* Combat and war sound design, including gunfire, and battlefield chaos
* Immersive jungle ambiences (day/night, environmental tension, movement)
* Dialogue editing, cleanup, and dialogue mix
* Foley and hard effects as needed
* Integration and balancing of the music score
* Final sound mix (re-recording mix) suitable for festival and online exhibition
What We’re Looking For:
* Strong cinematic sense and attention to detail
* Ability to craft immersive soundscapes that support both action and emotional moments
* Experience with narrative film sound design and mixing
* Access to professional sound libraries and tools
* Ability to deliver clean, organized sessions and final mixes
