Summary of Position
Our Toronto Sales & Distribution team is seeking a forward-thinking candidate able to thrive in a dynamic team environment. An internship role with our team will be project-driven and the ideal candidate will have a keen interest in Film & Television, exceptional communication skills and have an analytical mindset.
Under the direction of the Executive Vice President & Managing Director and along with our Toronto-based team the Candidate will be responsible for researching and coordinating several key projects while reporting into our Manager, TV Sales and Distribution.
Responsibilities
- Create a “territory overview” for the intern’s Final Project. This year’s Final Project will be focused on ad-supported and hybrid streaming models
- Gather competitive analysis of local and global content platforms
- Review historical data in order to communicate insights and marketplace trends
- Assist team members with content activations on a regular basis
- Participate in internal local and global sales meetings, as requested
Skills
- Ideally working towards a degree or diploma in Media, Film, Marketing, Business or Finance
- Excellent communication, writing and analysis
- Excel and Power Point experience required
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, ability to prioritize, multitask and meet deadlines
- Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Previous internship or related experience considered an asset

Lionsgate Internship Program – Summer 2026
Program Dates: Tuesday, June 9th – Thursday, August 13th, 2026 (10 Weeks)
The Lionsgate Internship Program is designed to identify, recruit, and develop a diverse group of students that will gain meaningful educational experiences, professional growth, and career opportunities.

The Lionsgate Summer 2026 Internship program dates are: June 9th – August 13th, 2026
All interns are required to attend orientation on Tuesday, June 9th, 2026.
Details
- Interns must not work more than 40 hours per week
- Must be actively enrolled in an accredited college or university and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree
- Interns must be current rising juniors through recent grads (within 6 months of internship start date)
- Graduate students are eligible to apply
- Interns must be available to work for the entire length of the program
- All internships are paid
- Most internship positions will require working 4 days in office

Compensation
19 CAD per hour
