Screen Queensland

Queensland is proudly home to a diverse base of highly skilled screen creatives and crew. To sustain and build the next generation of talent for our local screen industry, Screen Queensland supports emerging screen practitioners to develop their practical skills, careers and professional networks through our Attachment program. The program is focused on areas of industry skills demand and helps to build and maintain a skilled, professional Queensland screen industry workforce.

ABOUT THE PROGRAM

Through Screen Queensland’s Production Attraction Strategy and Screen Finance Fund, early career screen practitioners are supported to undertake a paid placement to gain valuable hands-on experience alongside experienced practitioners on eligible productions for approximately 5 to 12 weeks.

Prospective attachments can apply to the Screen Queensland Attachment Talent Pool with applications carefully reviewed and considered for upcoming attachment opportunities. Shortlisted applicants will be contacted directly by Screen Queensland.

The Attachment Talent Pool is open for applications year-round, with opportunities dependent on the number of eligible productions filming in the state at any one time.

Applicants will be contacted by Screen Queensland at the end of each 12-month period to update their application, ensuring we have the most current information and resume for the applicant on file.
